snow day
Chicago is expecting a snow storm today and truthfully -- I am a little excited. January is halfway over and we have seen snow on the ground twice this winter. The past week has felt like spring and while it's been a mild and lovely winter, I am ready to watch some snowflakes fall while sipping a hot cup of tea. It's going to be a great day!

Ooooh, that sweater looks SO cozy!
I love the pink Ugg slippers! I wore my Ugg boots to work today in preparation of the slight amount of snow we're expecting in Cincinnati this afternoon :) OF COURSE I changed into cute shoes once I got into work ;)

We are the same way here in Cleveland! :) We are supposed to get 4-5 inches tomorrow, I'm prepping myself to be able to work from home, with the fire in the fireplace! Should be a nice, cozy day!
I'd love it if this was the first & last snow for Chicago this winter. All of this nice weather & the brightly colored spring collections have me itching for summer.
I need the sweater and the mug. Need.
I think that the slippers are fabulous.
I wish I could just snuggle up under an afghan and enjoy the first real snow of the season but I have appointments and places to go today.
It will be the first time I drive my new car in "snow" since the other dustings I don't really count.
ohh i hate snow days but i do love them too. the perfect days to cozy up [i have that sweater!] and watch some girly movies (i LOVE to watch when harry met sally on a snowy day)
I love that sweater! Hope we get some snowflakes here in NYC, right now it's just rain. I want to curl up with some hot cocoa and a good book, and it's just not as good without a little snow falling out my window!
For some reason, I don't think my snow day will look as glamorous! It will involve me trying to commute home ... ah, I wish I worked from home in front of the fireplace, hot cocoa in hand!

I'm getting excited for the Chicago snow storm too, but also crossing my fingers that winter doesn't stretch into March/April this year. I'm wearing a similar sweater today and planning to make veggie chili tonight in honor of the wintery weather.
Love the Ugg slippers! We're DYING for snow out here...we've only had one storm...way back in October!
I really love that sweater! It's snowing here today too, for the second or third time - although no snow has accumulated any of those times. Enjoy it today - you might not be saying the same thing after a little while :)
So exciting! You can't help but get a little cheerful and kid-like when there is snow on the ground. Now my fingers are crossed for it to fall here!
The slippers are yum. I like and want. I live in Minneapolis and it was 52 degrees on Tuesday...WHAT? HOW? I am still pinching myself...not sure what Mother Nature is up too.
I only pray she doesn't have plans to punish us all in June with snow. I would rather just have it now when my body expects it. :)
