I'm going to need one of these

I am so excited that so many of you have commented on my last post! I asked my readers to share a little something about themselves + their blogs so we can get to know one another and find some new blogs to read. If you haven't done so, I encourage you to leave your info and read the comments that have been left so far. You may get some new readers, find some new reads and maybe even make a new friend in the process!

And now, on to my list. Because I really do need one of these.

 via

I may or may not have mentioned this 49,000 times, but I want a Frenchie pup. If these photos don't sell you, then the video of this Frenchie in a sweater & bow tie playing with a horse should do the trick. Cutest pup ever.

Skip ahead to 0:27

The following are reasons why I want/ & need a French Bulldog pup.
1. There is a local frenchie rescue organization. A sign? Yes. I think so.
2. Buddy needs a lady friend. I have her name picked & do not want Buddy to think that a male has replaced him.
3. Frenchies have squishy faces and stocky bodies. Who wouldn't want that?
4. I just want one.

Once Buddy gets over the fact that she's a French Bulldog [he HATES bulldogs of any kind] I know they'll be BFFs.

Do you have a dog or plans to get one soon? What's your dog's name?

THREE dogs ... and each is special in their own way ... English Bulldog (bullies are the BEST) Chubbi, Shar-Pei (the princess) Cede, and the MASTIFF (he is the puppy at 140 lbs AGH) Virgil ... I cannot imagine my life without them ... and Rescued dogs are an absolute must ... as well as any other animal - including horses, goats and pigs (all of which reside at my house :) )

I can totally see Buddy becoming obsessed with one of these little ladies, and I'm pretty sure I would be at your apartment 24/7 if you had two puppy companions.

Those are adoooorable! I don't have any dogs right now... but I love them all. My mom, I think, has enough for both of us (5). She even rescued one that only has two legs! We call her chicken wing! She's the sweetest thing though, really!

I have a cat right now. I was going to get a dog for Christmas, however, I was at an animal shelter with a friend back in September and this little gray kitten kept yelling at me from across the room and sticking his paws through the cage. I fell in love. Sometimes, I think the pet chooses you!

we have a Frenchie/Boston mix named Henry, and he is the love of my life. I kiss his squishy face about 1.8 million times a day! GET A FRENCHIE!!!

I want a puppy so bad. A golden doodle to be exact. But our apt won't let us, so I'm hoping when our lease is up in August we can find a new place and get ourselves a little friend!

Then we'd have FOUR coworkers! Clearly it completes the set.

My boyfriend has forbade it entirely until we don't live in NYC because apparently it is "ridiculous". I think he's ridiculous. I just want a puppy!!!

I would love a frenchie. The hubs is going to take a little more convincing! We have a 4-year old redbone coonhound rescue named Jake. And hoping to add a German shorthaired pointer rescue to our family this year!

Xx.

That video is adorable! I always say my next dog will be a frenchie as well! I already have two (big) dogs - Zoe (a pitbull) and Simba (a golden retriever mix) - so I'm not sure how well they'd get along with a new addition, though.

I have a lady pup. She is a mix of a Cavalier King Charles and a Cocker Spaniel. They call her a "cockalier". Her name is Sallie :)

Unfortunately our building doesn't allow dogs but I'd love to get one. Love that video! One of my friends has a Frenchie name Willie and he's just the sweetest thing.

I've had my dog, Phoebe, since college. She is a Cavalier King Charles and is such a lover by nature! She's SUPER spoiled. My husband and I would LOVE to get another cavalier and probably will once we know where he is ending up for residency!

Ahh that video is ADORABLE! I have a male Belgian Shepherd named Odin who is in his terrible twos, but I check the Belgian Shepherd Rescue website daily for his future sister. It is going to have to wait till we get a bigger place, but looking doesn't hurt...

We've been thinking about getting Wilson a friend...Ryan's parent's lab just passed away and he is SOOO sad now. He definitely needs a new friend! I say go for it! French Bulldogs are SOO cute!

We are on the same page, because Joe and I are dying to get a Frenchie. We're obsessed with them. Slash, they're the perfect apartment dog. Now we just have to move somewhere that actually allows pets!!

I hope you get one! They are too cute.

I've had a lhasa apso named Stella for the past 2.5 years and she's my love :)…this Christmas we had a boy puppy join the family, a Cavalier King Charles named Mojo! He's such a sweetie and only 2.5 months old. It's been a bit tough for "princess" Stella to adjust to the new puppy, but it's been 2 weeks and she's slowly warming up - I'm expecting they'll be best friends by the end of winter :). Goodluck if you do go with the new addition, I think it's a great idea!

There is the most ridiculously adorable 14 week old butterscotch Frenchie that has just taken up residence on our block. If I could devise a way to distract the owner long enough, I would so make off with that pup!

I've actually considered getting my dog Frankie, a 10 month old Corgi, another Corgi friend. He has been so much fun that I just can't help but want another! Frankie hates bulldogs too but likes Frenchies :) The bigger bulldogs always pin him at the dog park!

I've always LOVED french bull dogs.
Was hoping to eventually get one but instead my husband brought home a stray (pit mix) a few months ago. He's quite a handful so I don't think there will be another dog in my future.
Hope your 2012 is off to a great start!

Frenchies are so adorable; if we could get another, I'd totally get one. We recently adopted a little mutt (min pin, dachshund and chihuahua) named Toby, and he's loving being the king of our castle :)

So so cute! Love them. I hope you get one soon! Though if you get her before you come out to meet the baby, you must bring her with!! Maeby & Xander would enjoy the visit too :)

I just posted a list of goals for 2012 yesterday that has lots of similarities to yours. I'm also hoping to launch a business and volunteer more often, and while I'm totally at an amateur level, learning photography is a big goal for me. Have you checked out dabble (dabble.co)? I think I've seen baking classes there in the past, and they're only $20!
