I think my Christmas tree died.

10. I took my tree down this afternoon. Pulled off all 800 lights and I swear that there were more pine needles on the ground than on the tree by the time I was done. That was fun.

 

9. We finally got a little snow. Can you see Buddy's little snow boots? Poor pup probably wants to hurt me.

8. My back went out the day before NYE. I missed Alaina's party and spent New Year's on the sofa with the pup and a heating pad. It was the perfect excuse to slow down. I spent the entire weekend laying in bed and on the sofa. The down time was lovely [minus the pain, of course].

7. The metallic Eddie's are still on sale for under $100 after entering the code sale25 at checkout! These are normally priced at $178! I ordered the gold.

6. Shameless returns this coming Sunday. Can. Not. Wait. Will you be watching?

5. Making tomato soup a la Lara but using veggie broth & no heavy cream. Good stuff. 

 

4. Steve Madden still has that 25% off sale going on. I bought these in black.

3. Just filled a suitcase with old towels, blankets & clothes and dropped it off at a local shelter. It is nice to know that someone can make use of items that I no longer want or need. Also feels great to finally clean out my apartment. New year. New start.

2. I have some new pre-made blog templates coming out very soon. Let's hope my neck allows me to sit at this computer and finish working on them. Just writing this post is killing me. Time to go hang out with this guy.
