Hello!

The holidays are officially over and it's time to take on another year. What better than to start the new year off with some new blog friends? Please leave a comment sharing a little bit about yourself & your blog. Are you a new or old reader? How long have you been blogging? Do you love sequins, puppies & sappy chick flicks? Who are you?I missed out on NYE so why not take part in my little 2012 blog party? I think this will be a great way for me [and my readers] to get to know one another & find some new blogs to crush on in 2012.

Happy 2012, whoever you are. Let's hope it's a good one.

Can't wait to follow your blog, Summer! I've been reading Breakfast at Toast for about a year (when I joined the blogging world)...Danielle designed my blog for me after a friend recommended her to me and I am a loyal reader! My blog is www.cabinfeverinatlanta.com. I talk about my "rustic" upbringing and now city life as a corporate event planner. I blog a lot about my dogs and cooking! Happy 2012 everyone!

Love this idea to kick off 2012! I joined the blogosphere this past September and found your blog some time in October, and it has become a daily read ever since! I absolutely love sparkles, puppies, and the sappiest chick flicks you can possibly find. Hello Lifetime...I am also slightly addicted to chai tea and all things related to Wisconsin sports. I'm a super senior at UW-Madison and will begin student teaching in two weeks (ahhh) in the 3rd grade. My blog has become my creative outlet about fashion, interior design, and DIY projects. Looking forward to a new year!

xoxo,

Carly

Love this idea, Danielle! I've been reading Breakfast at Toast since our Chicago Blogger Get Together this Summer. I love your daily musings.

I started my blog, An Urban Cottage, in the Summer of 2010 when my bf at the time (now husband) moved into our first place together. My blog is dedicated to all things interior design, food, fashion, my puppy (a Cavalier named Phoebe) and most recently my Napa Valley wedding. I love fur (faux of course), sparkles and feathers, a great pair of heels, trying new recipes/restaurants and antiquing. I hope 2012 is full of all of the above.

Hi! I am a long time reader of your blog- probably for over a year now. I am a SAHM to to kiddos- my son Brayden (2.5) and daughter Kenley (3 months). I live in central Illinois, and I blog about a little of everything. Recipes, toddler woes, newborn monthly updates, clothing, etc. I have been blogging for 4 years now! I DO love sparkles, puppies, and sappy chick flicks, and my guilty pleasure, the Bachelor, has just started back up! LOVE your blog!

Hey, I found your blog a few months ago, and I couldn't be happier! I started blogging about a year and a half ago for funsies and I feel like it's taken me that long to fully understand the beauty of blogging! I do love sparkles and puppies... but I'll pass on the girly chicks *unless it's Love Actually or the Holiday* Happy 2012 from Jess @ http://avant-garde-living.blogspot.com/

Hello! I found your blog a few months ago - right when I started mine, and I participated in your gift guide a few months ago! I'm in college right now and I'm studying to be a teacher! One thing a lot of people 'online' don't know about me that is very apparent in my 'offline' life is that I LOVE music. I've been in some kind of group since I was 5 years old, and I can't imagine NOT doing it anymore at this point in my life! This is such a great idea to meet new people! Thanks!

Hey girl!

I have been enjoying Breakfast at Toast since I connected with you to design my blog in 2010. I had been designing it myself--and it looked it! I am very excited about your upcoming pre-mades. :D

Let's see...about me--former retail security trainer who taught yoga while my kids were itty bitty, and now I am a freelance writer for a local newspaper and website. I like coffee, gardening, fashion and beauty, and music. And of course, basset hounds.

I am a Tennessee gal (with the accent to prove it) who grew up with a death investigation specialist for a dad, and gift shop owner for a mom. Two kids-- 7 year old boy, and 4 year old girl, and a husband who works for the US Gov't. We make our home in the Rocket City: Huntsville, AL.

I look forward to checking out everybody's blogs! Happy New Year!

Long-time reader. I started blogging in January 2009 {!}. I think the more appropriate question would be, Who DOESN'T love sparkles, puppies, and sappy chick flicks?!

My blog is just kind of a life chronicle. I'm a newlywed with a 4 year old rescue dog and another one {hopefully} on the way. The blog is just my way of keeping track of our every day shenanigans and a creative outlet for me, since my job affords me very little creativity.

Happy new year!

Hello there! I found your blog 2 weeks ago and it has become one of my daily reads! :) I've been blogging for a few years but ever since I got out of university and found myself a full-time job, I had no time to blog! I hope I'll have more time to update my blog in 2012. I blog about anything (my life as an expat in Europe), my Yorkie...

Hi Danielle! What a great idea.

I found your blog through Sequins & Stripes a few months ago, and I have been a daily fan of your posts and tweets! I'm from California as well and spent time on the East Coast for school, so I completely understand the transplant thing :)

I started my lifestyle blog, http://www.sweetlifealacarte.com, this past September when I wanted to expand from my strictly-cooking blog (http://www.sweetlifelaur.com).

I primarily blog about style, travel, and little glimpses into my life - I just got engaged in November, so I have been starting up wedding posts and there are always photos of our two dogs (a Sheltie and a Chocolate Lab) floating around.

I'm looking forward to following your blog in the new year! Cheers!

I started my first blog 3 years ago and went to Three Bracelets over a year ago with the stories that have defined my life (I've worn three silver bracelets on my left wrist for 10 years and these beauties have seen it all). My life has been an adventure to say the least, and I'm currently learning to like/love on the east coast. I'm from Idaho but now living in Maryland all because of a boy.
Not only do I love sparkles, puppies and sappy chick flicks, but I like to top it all off with my love for ice cream.

Hi and Happy New Year to all! A friend, and fellow blogger, told me about Breakfast at Toast a few months ago when we were planning a trip to Chicago so we could make use of the the ultimate Chicago guide post... I've been a reader since!

While I've been reading blogs for what seems like ever, I only recently started blogging myself over at spikesnsparkles.blogspot.com(in October). I'm still finding my "blogging voice," but I post about fashion/outfits, home decor, diy, and my life in general. Quite a melange of things, really! I work in Corporate America by day, so I like to think blogging is my creative outlet.

I'm looking forward to checking out all of your blogs!

I am an avid TV watcher. Especially reality TV!
There are so many things I lurve....a few I enjoy: making lists and crossing them off, a cheap medium point Bic pen, chunky rings, dangling earrings, colorful scarves, vanilla frozen custard, and a great book!

I look forward to reading more on your blog in twenty12!

Love this idea, especially as I am somewhat of a new blogger! I am a pretty new reader - I found your blog through Bailey at Peppermint Bliss a few months ago and after overloading on inspiration from lots of blogs for a while, I finally got my own started right before the new year (http://collectingsparks.blogspot.com).

I'm a BIG writer, so I have been blogging in some way or another since I was about 14 (read: LiveJournal, haha) but at the moment I've been inspired by more visual things too - so I'm hoping my blog will morph into a great mix of both. As for me, I'd say I'm pretty defined by the things I love - my closet is legitimately 70% made up of J.Crew (I saw your post about their animal cruelty earlier last year and I was absolutely horrified). I am a green aficiando; I am drawn to every shade from kelly green to forest, but my absolute favorite is chartreuse. I also have a "slight" addiction to nail polish (possibly my favorite accessory) and my collection is hovering somewhere around 100 bottles (all-time favorite is OPI Mod About You).

I could go on forever, but I'll save that for my blog :). Can't wait to read more in 2012!

What a great idea! I've been reading your blog for quite sometime now (and I love it!) but I always like finding new blogs to follow!

A little about me--My name is Jane and I write a blog called In the Pink and Green. I'm a twenty-something newlywed originally from Michigan but I just (as in like 2 days ago) moved to Lake Tahoe! My husband's job has moved us to South Carolina and Colorado and now Lake Tahoe is our latest stop. I love to travel, so I'm looking at all these moves as one big adventure. My blog features (lots of) photos from our life, recipes, beauty, fitness, and much more. I'd love for you to stop by!

Oh and I have the cutest dog in the whole world, she's a boxer lab mix pound puppy named Lola and she has the most GIANT ears you've ever seen. She gets featured quite often :)

Happy New Year!

Hi Danielle!

I've been subscribed to Breakfast at Toast for a while now through Google Reader, so I'm up to date on all the recent stuff, but just discovered the wealth of previous posts you have here! I especially love the stories surrounding your move to Chicago. I wish I had the guts to do the same...fell in LOVE with Chi-town when I visited! I could go on and on about how much I love your blog...especially your photography!

My personal blog, http://wwwillletyouknow.blogspot.com/, started out as something to just deposit my random 20-something thoughts...but it has turned into a bit of a photoblog/way to hold myself accountable to reach my goals. =) Would love to take my photography to a new level this year!

P.S. Can't wait for EveryGirl!

Danielle- Happy New Year!!

Such a fun way to get to know each other, I've loved looking through all the responses! I've been a reader for a while now, and of course love puppies and girly movies, and who doesn't love sequins??

I have a blog, a creative day. (www.acreativedayblog.com) I am an architecture grad working as an interior designer. I love all things design and started my blog as an outlet to be more creative every day, and get encouraged and involved in others journeys.

I'm SO EXCITED for the everygirl... already have it bookmarked!!

I might be the last person to leave a comment, but this is a FABULOUS idea!

I found your blog through another Shelly's blog, A'la mode. I adore your creativity and your insane love for Buddy. And Everygirl- well it's genius.

I am author of Savor Home. It's a blog about mouth-watering food, fun fashion and interior design that I dream about. I have a very full-time job and my blog is what keeps me sane. Blogging is the one thing that I truly enjoy doing and don't mind losing sleep over- and I LOVE to sleep! I love to meet new friends, so stop by!

I know I'm a bit late in the game on this, but my name is Alyssa and I blog at Second Floor Living (secondfloorliving.net). I blogged consistently five days a week last year, but my interests eventually grew away from the topic of my old blog. I started Second Floor Living just last week to capture some of the things I care most about now, including entrepreneurship and life in Chicago.

Danielle, I found your blog just over a month ago and you've quickly become one of my favorite daily reads.

Hi there! What a fabulous idea for the new year! My name is Gabi and I started blogging this past March here on my personal blog, as well as interning for a fashion/beauty blog based here in Boston this past summer. I'm an East Coast girl in my fourth year of school at a five year university. I'm a semi-new reader who thoroughly enjoys your posts. I absolutely love sequins, puppies, and sappy chick flicks (old school Lifetime movies, to be exact). I'm hoping to break into the fashion/consumer PR world upon graduating and what better way to learn more about fashion than reading all the glamorous blogs here on the internet! So glad I found your blog!

I think I found your blog a little before I moved to Chicago 7 months ago and knew I needed to add you to my daily reads! I do adore puppies, sparkles, and chick flicks, and also drooling over beautiful interiors and photography and scouting out fashion steals. I haven't been a great blogger lately (my laptop is on the fritz and needs a replacement!), but I do have one and hope to post more regularly in 2012.

I'm a new reader at Breakfast At Toast, but I will definitely be coming back!
I am a part time student and work full time for an event and wedding designer in Vermont.
I'm new to the whole blogging thing (although I've been reading them since 2008) and I blog about things I cook, pictures I take, and anything I find interesting.
In my spare time I sew (one of my New Years resolutions is to finally open the Etsy shop I have been talking about for years.)
I like stripes, Paris, sparkles, analogue cameras, sock monkeys, and I never wear matching socks.

hi there! i am a new reader, and a brand new blogger this week! i love your style aesthetic, and i can tell i am going to really enjoy working back through your old posts. if you happen to have a free moment, i would be honored if you would stop by my blog [crossedanddotted.blogspot.com]

i write about the edible, wearable, and inhabitable things that inspire me - and i have so far resisted to post a picture of my furry friend, titus, but i am sure that won't last long!

I'm a brand new reader, after discovering your blog through MML.
I actually just started a blog with my sister in late October. We are loving it and trying to soak up every bit of information and learn as much as we can...including photography (major goal of mine, my photos are so sub par right now). We are basically just two sisters sharing everyday inspiration. We blog about anything that inspires us like interiors, DIY, beauty, recipes and whatever else. We'd LOVE for anyone to stop by and check it out:
