If you are a reader of my blog, I would love it if you would leave a comment telling me a little bit about you. What's your favorite Christmas song/movie? Your favorite Christmas tradition? Do you have a blog? I would love to get to know you. After all, it is Christmas time. Makes me want to bake and be merry.
It also makes me wish for a little bit of this...

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!

Danielle

ReplyDeleteI'm in the Cleveland area and we aren't supposed to get any snow either, but I'm still holding out for it!
Yup - new reader - I found you through the rabbit hole of the interwebs recently. My favorite Christmas movie? There are so many! I love A Christmas Story, Elf (well, at least before my kids watched it 837 times), White Christmas, and Love Actually. Favorite Christmas song is probably John Lennon's Happy Xmas, War Is Over. I don't know that I have any traditions per se, but I DO have a blog and would love for you to drop by sometime.
ReplyDeleteIt's http://merciblahblah.blogspot.com.
Have a great Christmas in the windy city!!
merci,
Shannan
I am definitely wishing for snow. We are moving to California in January and I want snow before we go. :( We'll be moving to Newport Beach so if you have any recommendations, I'd love them!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas song is "Celebrate Me Home" by Kenny Loggins and my favorite Christmas movie is "The Family Stone". I also love "Home Alone" and "Christmas Vacation".

Merry Christmas to you and Buddy! I know 2012 will bring wonderful things for you!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a Merry Christmas! I'm a loyal blog reader. I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie would probably have to be Elf. Closely followed by Christmas Vacation and The Holiday.
My favorite Christmas tradition is Christmas morning spent with my family and having a Christmas breakfast together.
I do have a blog. It's one that you designed :) www.jordanbeaston.blogspot.com
I am a reader! I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie is The Holiday. My favorite Christmas tradition is spending Christmas morning with my family and having Christmas breakfast together. This year is a little different for me too, it's my hubby's and I first Christmas together as newlyweds, so we are spending it together and then dinner at the in-laws (wish me luck).
I do have a blog, hope you check it out and follow.
www.mrsjilldanielle.blogspot.com
My favorite Christmas song is, "O Holy Night" and my favorite Christmas song is "Nothing Like the Holidays". Have you seen it? It was filmed in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteAs far as tradition goes, I have been creating scrapbooks for the kids in my family as their Christmas gift and I love watching their faces as they page through it. They call it their Yearbook since it is pictures of what happened that year for them.
Happy Holidays to you and your sweet pup!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movies are Scrooged (watched it last night, in fact), Christmas Vacation (that is tonight's movie), and Elf. I watched Love Actually a couple of weeks ago and it is a new fave!
My favorite Christmas shows are Charlie Brown and Mickey's Christmas Carol--the one that has the old-school cartoons before it where Chip and Dale were hiding in Mickey's Christmas tree.
Fave Christmas Songs: "Put a Little Love in your Heart" from Scrooged, "Christmas in Dixie" because I am a Tennessee gal living in Huntsville, AL, and anything Christmas by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers because they are made of awesome. My favorite hymn is "O Come O Come Emmanuel".
My favorite tradition is for my family to come down and we all attend Christmas Eve services at church. I sing in the choir and it is a very special and meaningful experience. Then later after everyone is snug in their bed, a nice glass of wine in front of the Christmas tree.
Danielle, I just want to tell you thank you so much for your creativity, your patience, and your kind spirit. Your designs for both my blog and my website have totally transformed them, and has inspired me to be a better writer. I am already thinking of new ideas for the blog in 2012!
Merry Christmas!!!
Those photos are so beautiful. I would love to have a white Christmas one day!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie and song go together — Love Actually and that version of "All I Want for Christmas is You." Though I also really love "The Christmas Song." My favorite tradition is sitting by the lit tree on Christmas Eve and watching whatever music special is on with my family.
And I blog at elembee, etc. (elembee.com)!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Hello! I recently found your blog and really enjoy your projects and pictures. I'm also dreaming of a white Christmas but Florida just won't cooperate. Rude!
ReplyDeleteI started a blog not too long ago and I'm really having fun with it!
Oh, and nothing beats watching Home Alone on Christmas Eve! KEVIN!
Lucky you get some snow for the holidays! We never have a white cHristmas in Dallas. That's why I'm headed to Tahoe next week! :)
ReplyDeleteLove watching holiday movies such as Elf, The Holiday, and Christmas Vacation while wrapping gifts after my wee one is asleep. I might have even devoured a whole bag of buttery popcorn last night while wrapping too! It's because I'm a foodaholic!
Merry Christmas!
Watching movies all day is my kind of Christmas! Love Actually for the intertwining storylines, The Ref for its witty dialogue, The Holiday for set design, and the list goes on...
ReplyDeleteSounds fantastic! Love these sweet pics too! Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteLove this! Hello Danielle, I'm a fellow graphic designer that blogs, which means I work way too much! ;o) I'm trying to wrap up a bunch of projects so I can take next week off with my family in Napa. This is the first Christmas that my almost 3-year-old is understanding what it's all about, and it's been so much fun to hear her try to sing Christmas carols. So this year, my favorite carol is Santa Baby (which she sings, even the "fellas I haven't kissed") because she thinks a baby is hurrying down the chimney. I think it's hilarious and a Christmas memory I'll keep forever.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful holiday! xoxo
Merry Christmas Danielle! Sounds like the perfect weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis year I'm spending Christmas in Seattle with my boyfriend's huge and crazy Italian family for the first time. A huge change from my quiet suburban family- wish me luck!
Looking forward to hearing how yours went next week on your blog- Enjoy!
We're splitting time between both our families this year, but a quiet Christmas with just the two (ahem 3..sorry Odin) of us would be amazing! Favorite Christmas movies.. It's a Wonderful Life, Elf, and Love Actually! Favorite tradition, family hike on my parents land after the big meal! Happy Holidays Danielle!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful Christmas with J!! Favorite movie is a tie between love actually and the holiday. I'm cooking dinner on Christmas this year - wish me luck!
ReplyDeleteAnother new reader; I found you courtesy of another blogger friend. I'm in VA, and I don't think snow is in the forecast, but the family will be in full effect
ReplyDeleteMy favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story" with Ralphie and the BB Gun, though I will say my immediate family and I do watch "The Long Kiss Goodnight" every year, too; can't remember how that started, but we can't seem to stop. As for my favorite Christmas song, "The 12 Days of Christmas" by Straight No Chaser.
Have a wonderful Christmas; I look forward to catching up on some of your older posts!
