Santa Claus is comin' to my Christmas party.

Last Friday, I woke up and realized that I needed to plan a holiday party. I consulted with my friend and business partner to make sure we had time. No. Lots of work to do and not enough notice for a party. So -- I sent an email to a few friends and Alaina was the first to RSVP. I love that girl.

And a little Christmas party inspiration for you! I am already halfway through my 2nd RL candle of the season, have an obsession with tartan plaid and the gold candle from Crate and Barrel has been a favorite this season as well.

1. Ralph Lauren holiday votive set
2. Color banded dessert plates
3. Kate Spade Larrabee dot old fashioneds
4. Tartan plaid towels
5. Banded glassware
6. Crate and Barrel gold ball candle
7. Peppermint bark
8. Pottery Barn snow currant candles

Tonight, a few girlfriends will stop by for cranberry margaritas, baked brie and some other delicious goodies. Liz is coming over early to do a little work & bake cookies. I'm excited! It wouldn't be Christmas without a little get together.

And the best part of this evening? My super handsome co-host who will show up dressed as Santa. Yes -- I'm sharing the Buddy dressed as Santa photo again. Can you blame me?

  2. I love tartan too! I may be wearing a tartan bow in my hair to work today and I don't care how many people make jokes about it. I LOVE Christmas! And I love Buddy. He's just too precious.

  15. I love smaller intimate holiday get togethers so this sounds like the perfect party! You can never share enough Buddy pictures. Speaking of Buddy, Odin has a "Buddy the Elf" costume for Christmas this year for when he helps us open presents (read bites off the wrapping). Have fun!
