Thanksgiving is over. Who wants to get a Christmas tree?!

I usually have more Christmas cheer than anyone I know but find myself feeling unusually un-cheerful this season. I am no Scrooge [trust me] but am not my usual Buddy the elf-ish self, either.

I am not giving up. Pulling out all the stops. I have put up a few decorations, brought out my favorite santa mug, burned over half of my Ralph Lauren Holiday Classic Candle and have Christmas music playing on iTunes. So far it isn't working. Heading to the drug store to pick up some new lights for the balcony and will get a tree as soon as I can.

Has this ever happened to you? What's wrong with me?

  3. I think it's the weather....we're used to at least some snow by Thanksgiving. Today I wore my light spring jacket and it was hard to believe it's december. Now I know for sure that I'm a seasons girl..California isn't for me ;)

  4. These pics are definitely getting me in the spirit! I feel like Christmas came WAY too fast this year, maybe that's it?? We're getting our tree this week, so I am guessing that will get us more in the mood around here too! :)

  7. Maybe once you start smelling that Christmas tree pine smell you'll get into it, that usually does the trick for me!

  10. I'm somewhat with you and I definitely think it's this warm weather we've been experiencing. Which has been nice! But is no good for that extra Christmas cheer.

  11. I am feeling the same way, I think we need some snow and the month of December to show up before I can think about Christmas shopping, Christmas music, and Christmas decor!
