1:35 - they start dancing
3:04 - he jumps in & she figures out what's going on.
4:10 - he pulls out the ring
I love flash mobs. I really do. I cannot dance so the chances of my being in a flash mob are slim to none. If someone would arrange a flash mob for me I would really love that. I turn 30 next Sept, friends. Make it happen.
If you are engaged, I would love to hear your engagement story!
A walk on the beach, romantic dinner, airplane, flash mob?
That is so special!! I am over here in tears!
ReplyDeleteMy husband tried to talk me on a beach walk early in the day and I said I hated hiking (little did I know he wanted to propose on the beach). So we took our cat for a walk (yes, she is leash trained), and stopped at a picnic bench near our house. He teased me about how I could be engaged right then, and I was devastated! Then I picked up the cat and saw the ring on her collar! He got down on one knee and asked if I'd marry him!!! Needless to say I said yes!
ReplyDeleteTotally adorable! LOVE how shocked and surprised she is. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteI loved this proposal - it was so sweet!
ReplyDeleteMy husband proposes to me on a bridge overlooking the seine. I was studying in France and he totally surprised me by appearing on the bridge when my roommate (conspirator) and I got there.
I have NO good proposal story for you, hopefully one day I will, oye! haha

i saw this last week and have watched it like 5 times since then! it's so sweet, the dancing is really good, and i get really teary-eyed at the end!
ReplyDeleteyou know what i love about this? he looks so sincere (and is such a good dancer!) and she doesn't even look at the ring until he puts it on! i love that.
ReplyDeleteThat was great, I just might have to watch that again!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
ReplyDeletehow sweet!! that definitely gave me the goosebumps :)
ReplyDeleteI think proposals with elements of surprise are so much fun! though sometimes I feel sorry for the guys because all the pressures on them :) My hubs did a great job proposing, but the story is way too long to write in a comment box ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing video! I just cried in my cube at work. Great start to my Friday -- so happy for them. I've always wanted to witness flash mob, and one with a proposal?! amazing.
ReplyDeleteUgh still want to marry this amazing dancer!
ReplyDeleteThat just made me cry a little.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first post on your blog. *I love reading it by the way!!
ReplyDeleteMy Engagement Story: My husband proposed on the top of the Scaligero Castle in a little town in Italy called Malcesine on Lake Garda on bended knee. And to top it all off, someone was randomly playing Italian opera music at their home that day so it was drifting up from their open windows. It was incredible to say the least but only b/c of the love I have for the man I got to marry. I think all engagement stories are special no matter the circumstances though b/c there's always that magical, emotional moment.
This is beyond brilliant and so so sweet!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteHaha that video is awesome!! I just got engaged last saturday and I was shocked! We were on vacation on Cape Cod in Massachusetts and he asked me if I wanted to take a walk at sunrise and said no! But when he woke me up the next morning, I agreed. We took a walk on a georgous beach and suddenly I turned around and he was on one knee. It was cute! :) I am glad he didnt do it in a huge public spectacle though... I love them, but they're not for me!!
ReplyDeleteSmile?! I cried! It doesn't help that I'm preggers, but that was the BEST proposal ever! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, how insanely cute. I definitely was smiling through it! We got engaged on the beach in the small beach town where we fell in love - we had the dog with us, who was tangling us together with the extend-o leash, and it was also starting to rain a teeny bit. It was already dark, but he just couldn't wait any longer.
ReplyDeleteWow my eyes literally watered! Can't believe how sweet this guy is!
ReplyDeleteAw, it definitely made me smile! Thanks for sharing. Miss you, friend!
ReplyDeleteI actually have tears in my eyes! so sweet & fun!!
