I had such a fun + productive weekend! Most of my time was spent wtih Sarah. We went to dinner at Hubbard Inn on Friday night. I ordered the grilled Moroccan vegetables -- so good! Sarah came over after dinner and we ended up styling the pin board above my desk. Having creative friends who suggest the styling of your pin board? I've found my people. These blog girls get me. And the pin board? Love. Here's a sneak peek.
On Saturday morning we ventured to Navy Pier to rent bikes. I had not been on a a real bike in over 10 years & let me tell you...riding through Chicago is a lot more fun than spin class. After our ride we had lunch at Tavern on Rush. One of my favorite spots in the heart of the gold coast. Sat outside + took in one of the last summer weekends of 2011.

Saw Sarah again on Sunday. Errands + lunch at whole foods. Picked up a new tray from West Elm. Another sneak peek.
We parted ways + I was off to my appointment to have my hair straightened. Finally! I feel human again. ;)

May work on a little something with Sarah + Lesley today! I definitely plan on enjoying the extra day off. What were you up to this weekend? Any special plans today? Can you believe summer is almost over? Please tell me how it's already September 5th! Time is flying by!
I would really appreciate it if you took a moment to vote for my photo! I would love to win Randolph Street Market's vintage vernacular photo contest! Thank you in advance!!!
