The boyfriend and I are taking next Thurs + Fri off to enjoy Chicago + a little pre-birthday fun. I have never been much of a birthday person but cannot wait for our long weekend. Getting him to take time off work is nearly impossible. Happy birthday to me.

I really enjoyed the long weekend and short work week. I took a nap with the pup on Monday and haven't napped since I had the flu in Jan. The pup naps like it's his day job. Probably because it is. I love him.
Until I get a real frenchie {rescue, of course} I'll settle for this one.
I ordered a lamp for my bedside table/bar cart. Cannot wait for it to arrive! Had a gift card and saved $50.
Had my hair straightened last weekend. Humidity has nothing on a good straightening. Although it isn't humid anymore because summer is on its way out. Sad.
High of 80 on Sun. Planning some outdoor Chicago fun with my friend Michelle.
Running errands with Lesley today. Excited for a little midday errand with a friend.
Favorites this week. And yes. I actually drink my cucumber water this way.
Photo shoot tomorrow with a few of my favorite Chicago girls. Cannot wait!
My birthday is a week from tomorrow! Last week as a 28 year old. Going to make the most of it.
