100

100 bloggers have committed to taking better care of their skin. That number made my week. But now that we've hit 100, I'd like to see that number double by my birthday. That gives us two months and one day. Think we can get there? Have you taken the pledge for safe skin?

My sister finally saw her dermatologist because I told her she had to. Wish I had that kind of power over everyone. She had 3 moles shaved off and the results were great. Not one needed to be cut out.

I have a 1.5 inch scar on my back reminding me to take care of my skin. I never used to wear sunscreen. Those days are over.

That scar is a reminder.
A reminder to stay safe in the sun.
A reminder that we are not invincible.

Wear your sunscreen + see your dermatologist.
You have one body. Take care of it.

And while you're at it, sign the pledge.
You can also follow us on Twitter.

I think I'll do sun savvy sundays over on my blog to help you get 200 by your birthday!

Signed the pledge and have an appointment with the dermatologist this week to look at a questionable mole — something I've been needing to do for a while! Thanks for the reminder!

My parents were always very vigilant about making my sister & I wear sunscreen whenever we went outside. I thought this was a bother when I was younger, but I am so glad they did now! I've continued to wear sunscreen daily - I've made it part of my morning-routine. One, quick 3-minute task can really save you. So glad you started Sun Savvy to spread the word!
