With Prince William & Kate Middleton's wedding taking place this Friday, I thought it would be fun to have a week devoted to weddings on the blog. Along with this week of weddings, I have decided to host my first blog crawl, so please save the date for this Friday. If you would like to participate, please RSVP by leaving a comment letting me know that you would like to participate!
For those of you that want to participate, here is an image for your post.

My first post is devoted to mason jars. Naturally, I am all about simple, chic & intimate weddings. Only close family & friends. And the dress. Small wedding.
Gorgeous dress. Done.
I love this look because it is so simple & chic &. And having mason jars at a wedding is the
perfect excuse to stock up. A girl could develop quite the collection this way.
Would {or did} mason jars make your list?
What is the one thing you have to {or had to} have at your wedding?

I love mason jars used at weddings. We didn't go that route but we have tons here in our apartment and I have a handful of dried lavender in one in our bathroom!
ReplyDeleteThat's one of the few things I regretted about having a destination wedding. I wanted to make mason jar candles and place them all over the reception. But unfortunately it would have cost us thousands of dollars (literally thousands) to ship them down to the island. BIG fan of this idea.
ReplyDeleteMason jars would certainly make my list. You could fill them with your favorite coco or cookie mix and give them as wedding favors. The really small jars can be filled with candle wax and made into custom candles. Mason jars are just classic!
ReplyDeletei LOVE mason jars. i like to drink tea from them, use them to store almonds, and use as vases for flowers. i love the idea of them in a wedding! so simple and elegant.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Mason Jars for weddings! I actually think my fiance and I are going to use them as candle holders for our September wedding!

Fun post! Love all the mason jar inspiration. I seriously need some mason jar love in my house--I have NONE!
ReplyDeleteI recently saw Mason Jars that somehow (help me out if you know) had solar lights on them. And they were painted - but in more of a stained glass way - so it just looked like colored glass.
ReplyDeleteI'm dying to make these - but can't quite figure out how it was done?
IDEAS???
I just used mason jars at my Easter Brunch as juice glasses-they work great, are recyclable and if you need 20 or more very cost effective!
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS IDEA! You're brilliant. Please count me in for the blog crawl (and I'll see you Thursday!). :)
