I love Chicago. I also love breakfast {& brunch}.

The namesake of my blog. Couldn't leave this one out.

Hub is amazing. The breakfast nachos & cinnamon crepe pancakes are phenomenal.
I was talked in to ordering the pancakes. Totally worth it.
Hub51 is also a great spot for lunch or dinner.

The south beach is delicious = 1/2 pineapple packed with fruit & yogurt.
I am a little boring & usually order an egg white omelet.
But the french toast looks really good.

Home of frushi = fruit sushi & the famous pancake flight {shown above}. So good!
I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes. Uh-mazing.
And they serve cucumber water.

  8. i try to stick to eggs at breakfast brunch because they're filling and usually pretty healthy. i'm partial to greek-style omelets with lots of spinach, tomatoes, and feta cheese with a side of wheat toast. once in a while i'll cave and order something sweet. that pancake flight looks so tempting!

thanks for sharing all of your favorite spots. i'm bookmarking them for my trip to chicago this summer-can't wait!

  12. I have not been to Hub51! Which might surprise you but no one has ever wanted to go there. So I guess I need to do the suggesting, huh? I've been to all the others - totally amazing restaurants. Have you ever been to Hot Chocolate? Definitely a mighty fine brunch spot.
