In the kitchen: My first trifle.

First there's a layer of ladyfingers, then a layer of jam, then custard, then raspberries, more ladyfingers, then beef sauteed with peas & onions, then a little more custard, and then bananas, and then I just put some whipped cream on top. - Friends

Here's what went in to my not so traditional English trifle. A layer of spice cake, then pudding & a layer of cool whip. A little more cake, pudding & some more cool whip with some cinnamon sprinkled on top. So simple and so good! I wasn't sure I was going to like it and ended up loving it.

pudding: 1 pack vanilla pudding + 1 can pumpkin + brown sugar.

  3. actually Great Lakes where my boyfriend is at Naval Training! I went to see him graduate in September and we went to Chicago and it's so amazing. I love it! I wish we could have spent more time there.
