J. Crew goes couture.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010

It's no secret that I have a thing for J. Crew. While I have purchased a few great pieces from the crew over the past few months {my silk motorcycle jacket & sequined skirt are my faves}, there is always something new that I love. What I have been really surprised by are the higher end pieces that one would never expect to find at J. Crew.

Someone just tell me when and how this happened? In the words of Rachel Zoe...this line is uh-mazing. And Ba-na-nas.

And as a little side note, I will not be purchasing any of these pieces. They are just a touch {understatement of the year} out of my price range.

  1. That black leather Motorcycle jacket is amazing!!! And the light fur vest...I was all NO vest and now I kinda want one - LOFT has a very cute one for very reasonable too! I think I am gonna do it!

(I got a 25% off all purchases thru 10/11 from crew....we need to go!)

  2. I was just looking at the J Crew website last night and drooling over some of the clothes.

I like that a lot of the clothes are classic and can be worn throughout time. But I also love that they are venturing into the more couture types of clothing. Now if only my budget could handle the cost of these items;)

  5. They have just been getting better and better with every season, but this one is really off the charts. The marketing that comes to my house is impeccable and it must be working...on who? It looks like the elite...because the best stuff is now $495 minimum. Makes me sad b/c I want so much of it! Thankfully looking is free :)
