Halfway there.

I love June 25th because it marks a wonderful little halfway point in the year.

Yes, we are halfway to Christmas. If you want to get technical, all the decorations come out at the end of October so we are actually only 4 months away from all the holiday cheer. And I just love holiday cheer.

I get a little Buddy the Elfish around the holidays. I love the decor, the music, and how happy & festive everything is. I'm the girl that starts playing Christmas music the second all the decor goes up, and I listen to it throughout the entire season. And maybe a little after that, too.

I even watch those cheesy Lifetime Christmas movies. But only sometimes. Because sometimes they're good. Don't judge. You know you do it too.

The photo above {right} makes me want an iron bed so I can hang stockings at the foot of the bed. You simply cannot do that with an upholstered bed.

What's your favorite thing about the holiday season?

  1. I saw an ad for "Christmas in June" today, and it never registered that it was because it's the halfway point to Christmas. Ai yi yi!

My favorite part of the season is that it's FULL of celebration - my grandmother-in-law's birthday, our wedding anniversary, my sister's wedding anniversary, my brother's wedding anniversary, my birthday, my sister's birthday, and my sister-in-law's birthday all take place in December! It's such a fun, crazy, busy time, and I absolutely love it :-)
