Last summer was the summer of spray tans. Not worth it. $$$
This summer, I needed something that would allow me to wear my new denim shorts. I have officially declared the summer of 2010 the summer of Jergens Natural Glow Express Body Moisturizer. I have been using this on my legs so they don't look so freakishly white, and it works. I do not have the color that I had with spray tanning, but that isn't really what I was going for this time around. I have learned to embrace the fact that I am pale, but I just don't want to glow in the dark. My sister said that I actually pass for a normal person now.
The bottle of the express moisturizer is smaller than the original one and more expensive {$8-$9 per bottle} but it works quickly. You will have some color in just 2 days, so it is definitely worth it. I am just about done with my first bottle, and will be buying a few more.

Under $10 and I can wear shorts and dresses without blinding anyone. I like it.
I'm translucent too! We should start a club or something. I have heard lots of good things about Jergens, but this summer I went with Johnson and Johnson's Holiday Sun and it is working out well. I also don't think tanning salons or sitting out is a good idea, and I had a very bad experience with a spray tan, so that's a no-go!
ReplyDeleteyea that stuff is fantastic isn't it?! i love that it doesn't turn me orange! I am pale as well and don't have time to go melt in the sun so I resort to a few minutes of lotion lather in the am {sometimes} as well!
